Our co-founders are Raymond Nomizu and Phuc Truong. Raymond used to run a clinical research site and spent years struggling with the inefficiency of error-prone paper binders. After enrollment holds and many late nights cleaning up data, he decided there had to be a better way to conduct research, so he reached out to his friend and former business associate Phuc, a serial technology entrepreneur who most recently worked on a mobile health care application.
Together, they came up with the idea of a web-based eSource solution aimed at research sites. They tested the concept with neighboring sites in the Boston area, and received overwhelmingly positive feedback. With funding from NXT Ventures and Rally Ventures, Clinical Research IO was born.
Today, CRIO is the industry's leading site-centric eSource and CTMS workflow tool. We are passionate about our goal of transforming clinical research through innovation.
